John Mendo

John Mendo has lived in beautiful Townsville for over 50 years, during that time he has raised three sons, introducing them to all the sports and outdoor activities available for those of us fortunate enough to live in this great region.

Professionally John began his career as an apprentice carpenter which led to the creation of Mendo Homes. John built a reputation for delivering high quality homes on time and on budget. Using the skills, he learnt working within the building industry, John seized another great opportunity to open three Brumby’s Bakery stores. In 2004 John re-launched the ever popular Toyworld Store back to Townsville and quickly turned it into the second largest in Australia. For twelve years he was extremely proud to own and operate a nationally recognised icon, bringing the widest range of toys with the best back up service to many valued town and country customers.

As one of the Harcourt’s sales team John is one of the most referred agents in the Kirwan area and is focused on providing excellent customer service. His mission is to get the best possible price in the shortest possible time. With his knowledge as a registered Builder he has an advantage over others with the ability to recommend cost effective solutions prior to your property going to market.
